Murmur is an end-of-season gathering bringing the peripheral of Montréal nightlife (and beyond) to the center: immersive listening, skill-share workshops, & dancefloors throughout a multi-stage festival.
Feeling curious?
Festivities begin at sunset on Friday, September 11th 2026 and end at sunset on Sunday the 13th — all patrons are free to stay on site until Monday morning to ensure a rested drive home.
This gathering takes place at the foothills of protected ancestral forest, on traditional unceded territory of the Algonquin, Huron-Wendat, and Anishinabewaki Nations. It is today an expansive nature cooperative in the Laurentians 1.5 ~ 2hrs north of ‘Montréal’.
Our venue for the weekend is an exclusive lakeside site with no neighbors - complete with sauna, kayaks, hiking trails & unlimited stargazing included in the experience. Shoutout to our friends at Bohême Système for being the first to imagine a gathering here and for introducing us to this beautiful playground.
Murmur is shaped as much by participation as programming: come to contribute, not to consume. You are invited to bring your strange ideas to life, to share skill-sets, to let your freak flag fly, or to simply volunteer to help make this project possible. More information on that soon.
All Murmites stay on-site; most tickets include accommodation in shared dorms or chalets. Reserve a cabin with friends or arrive solo and make new friends along the way. Camping options will be available.
